

The Waddani party of Somaliland has applauded the announcement made by the minister of information last night declaring the unilateral, unconditional ceasefire and urged the warring sides to accept peace talks.
The Chairman of the Party, Hirsi Ali Haji Hassan said in a facebook post that his party is ready to be part of the efforts to bring together all sides on the negotiation table to resolve the contention and avoid further armed conflicts.
Last night, Somaliland government said they made the unilateral ceasefire to minimize the casualties caused by the armed conflict and pledged to sit with the other side for peace talks if they endorse it.
