Yesterday, a journalist Abdi Malik Coldoon has been set free after years in captivity for numerous charges. His huge fans galvanized a call for his release. President Muse Abdi pardoned him. Coldoon thanked the president and anyone who nodded for his release campaign. He also thanked his mother who travel back and forth from Buroa where she lives during his imprisonment.
Faysal Ali Warabi said to meet him in person, for his huge followers, Coldoon forces the political opposition leaders to give him the right attention since he can be a political asset during the election days.
After release, he bragged about that Amnesty International spoke for him among other dignitaries for the return of his freedom. In flashing cameras, he refused to answer any questions and left the venue immediately.
