The US embassy in Mogadishu urged Somali government to meet its autonomies in effort to solve thorny issues of political division, to implement debt relief and to coordinate corvid-19 response. This call added that the meeting by Somali president Abdilahi Farmaajo and self-rule states of Somalia should be urgent according to the official twitter account of the US embassy in Somalia.
Somalia government has been trying to reintegrate Somalia after decades of civil war that left the country fragmented. It waged a regional, diplomatic tour to persuade the neighbor countries not to welcome regional state leaders in their countries as presidents of a sovereign nation. That diplomatic war became fruitful and none of the presidents seen in Nairobi or Addis Ababa ever since. President Farmaajo disregarded and overlooked the presidents to centralize the power in his hands, however, the US called an urgent meeting for all sides to end division and replace it with the spirit of cooperation.
the call balances power and encourages participatory democracy and avoids the old path of tyranny and one-man rule.
