Death and injuries have been reported in a car accident that happened at Karasharka in Sheikh town. Some of the victims were rushed to the Buroa General hospital for treatment.
At least two people have been confirmed dead and nine others injured in a car accident caused by a minibus that was traveling from Hargeisa to Burao which happened at Karasharka in Sheikh town.
Initial reports indicate that the victims were rushed to the main hospital in Burao for treatment. Government officials said the victims are receiving treatment.
This is not the first time such an accident is happening in the region. Damaged roads and reckless driving are among the major causes of car accidents in Somaliland.
