Mohamed Hussein Rooble got the Parliament’s nod for him to resume work as the 20th Prime Minister of Somalia.
The UN assistance mission in Somalia also sent in their congratulations and wished the newly appointed prime minister success as he assumes the leadership role at a critical moment in the country’s history.
Yesterday, the parliament gave a unanimous endorsement of the new PM Mohamed Hussein Roble. All 215 MPs present at the session voted in favour of the appointment.
Many are now eagerly anticipating Mr Roble cabinet formation and the implementation of the recently concluded agreement on electoral mode between the Federal Government and its member states which was inked hours before he was appointed for the position.
