Wadanni Party Denounced The Free Movement

Wadani Party official Abdilahi Geel Jire denounced the said free movement between Somaliland and Somalia. “Somaliland people are very vigilant of their nationhood, they are united when it comes to matters of survival” he elaborated.

Unlike the previous policy of arresting Somaliland visitors to Somalia. Somaliland normalized ties with it big brother of Somalia in social apolitical spheres. But Mr. Geele warily said that how do we control the sports for example if Somali chant their national anthem? Teams from Hargeisa will soon visit Mogadishu and wave their flag likewise Somali teams would wave their blue flag above Hargeisa sky. He predicted that things can go wrong and escalate unknowingly by Somaliland into politics unless exercised extreme vigilance over shoulders.

The government didn’t give details about of how people from Somalia would be governed if they wave the blue small flags which many Somalilanders view it of “ Nazi flag waved” or intentionally say slurs against Somaliland.

Somalia has no problem with regional flags and long before the normalization has held Somaliland independence or wave flag of Somaliland.
