The Somali community in the province of Alberta, Canada, is demanding from the Canadian security agencies to get justice for Ali Hussein Jibril, who was one of the Somali intellectuals and has been missing since the beginning of December last year and was found dead by the police in the beginning of feb, in the south of the city of Edmonton in the province of Alberta.
At the beginning of December, the deceased disappeared after he took his children to a school not far from his house, and after that his car and his telephone were found in front of his house.
The Police who have been searching for the deceased since he disappeared, told Ali Hussein’s relatives that they found his body in a car. However, The security agencies have not shared any details about who was behind the killing, and investigation is still under way.
So far, the Somali community in Edmonton is concerned about the results of the investigation. This has become a new issue for Somalis in Edmonton and Canada as a whole, and it has created panic and fear.
The Somali Community expressed sadness and conveyed their sincere condolences and wished and prayed for the deceased who was buried in Edmonton. The deceased left a wife and children.
