Mogadishu—17, October, 2018—information and technology show was in Mogadishu for the first time in Somalia. The users of IT products and services participated in the display. The minister of Communication and Technology said he will welcome such initiative to be held every year and traders in the communication sector learned each other in the show.
ICT of such kind couldn’t be a possibility because of the Jihad and the civil war that is rocking the capital and its suburbs since 1991.
Doing it isn’t small step in such grim circumstances. “This exhibition will show the other good face of Somalia that the world doesn’t know.” Said the deputy minister Mahdi Mohamed Guuleed.
