A Djiboutian contingent of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) arrived in Dhusamareb town, Galgaduud region on yesterday.
Members of the Somali federal parliament, Galmudug officials, politicians and the public welcomed the troops to the city.
The Djiboutian troops embarked from Hiran region of central Somalia and now have been stationed at government centers in the Dhusamareb city, and the airport.
AMISOM forces will take part in securing the city of Dhusamareb, where the Galmudug reconciliation conference and the Galmudug administration will be held soon.
