Founded in 1933, the International Rescue Committee is a global humanitarian leader that help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future. The International Rescue Committee, hereinafter referred to as “the IRC”, is a non-profit, humanitarian agency that provides relief, rehabilitation, protection, resettlement services, and advocacy for refugees, displaced persons and victims of oppression and violent conflict. With the funding of different donors, IRC has been working in Somalia since 2007, providing essential services to conflict and disaster affected communities in Mudug, Banadir, Nugal and Galgadud regions.
The IRC is issuing Request for Proposals (RFPs) to solicit competitive sealed bids to establish a contract with reputable companies for the provision of the following services to IRC Somalia (Mogadishu, Garowe, Galkacyo and Dhusamareb Offices) on a routine basis and for the period of one (1) year:
PR/2SO/NB/01/2019: Provision of Employee Medical Insurance Cover services (In-Patient and Out-Patient) to all its Employees and dependents based in Somalia at the following locations (Mogadishu, Galkacyo, Garowe and Dhusamareb).
PR/2SO/NB/02/2019: Group Life Assurance (GLA) and Group Personal Accident (GPA) Schemes to all IRC Employees based in Somalia at the following locations (Mogadishu, Galkacyo, Garowe and Dhusamareb).
HOW TO APPLY:
Interested and suitably qualified vendors can collect tender documents from IRC Nairobi, Mogadishu, Garowe,Galkacyo and Dhusamareb Offices during official working hours. Duly filled and completed Technical and Financial Bid documents sealed in one envelope shall be addressed and submitted to:

DEADLINE for submission will be Wednesday, 6th February 2019 at 4:00pm East African Time. Any clarification from Bidder will be provided by February 1st 2019. Late submission of bids will not be accepted.

IRC is not bound to accept the lowest priced bid or any bid that
is submitted.
